Shaolin Temple of Canada is a distinguished non-profit society and an official extension of the legendary Shaolin Temple & Monastery in Songshan, China.

Master Shi Yandi, handpicked by Shaolin Temple of Songshan China, ensures that Canadian students are provided with an exceptional opportunity to immerse themselves in the study of Shaolin Kung Fu, Shaolin Culture, and Chan (Zen) Buddhism, following the time-honored methodology and ideology of the Shaolin Temple. With great honor, Master Shi Yandi carries the sacred responsibility of transmitting the profound knowledge that has been passed down over the illustrious 1500-year history of the Shaolin Temple, from one generation to the next.

After two years of meticulous planning, unwavering dedication, and tremendous support from communities in both China and Canada, the Shaolin Temple of Canada in Vancouver opened its doors in September 2018.
