Shaolin Xiaohong Boxing | 少林小红拳

The authentic Songshan Shaolin Xiaohong Boxing (also known as Small Form Red Boxing in English) is the basic boxing routine of the ‘Red Boxing series and belongs to soft boxing category. It is a compulsory routine for beginners to learn Shaolin Kung Fu. Therefore, it is said that Shaolin Xiaohong Boxing is the “Mother of Eighteen Boxing” it is one of the must learn basic techniques of the Shaolin Temple Kung Fu.
Duration: 10 x 1 hour class (10 weeks)
Shaolin Zen Kungfu Soft Boxing
少林禅功柔拳课程
Shaolin Kung Fu Zen Soft Boxing combines external power with soft internal power of Kung Fu practice. The external power governs rigidity and the internal power governs softness.
Using the internal ‘Zen’ to cultivate Qi. It takes much self-cultivation and dedication to harness the power of Qi and return to the natural state of the human condition.
Although taught as a minor part of self-defense routine the true essence and the effects of Shaolin Soft Boxing is to strengthen muscles and body, invigorating the clarity of mind and heart and promoting a long and healthy life.
Duration: 12 x 1 hour class (12 weeks)
Shaolin Staff | 少林棍术课程
The Shaolin staff boasts a wide range of techniques and distinctive features. The staff is a weapon that moves in all directions. Shaolin staff involves the practitioner’s movement from head to toe, allowing the practitioner to dominate a wider range and make stronger blows. It can be used for attack, defense, training and body conditioning.
Shaolin monks usually begin with Shaolin staff when learning to use weapons and it’s regarded as the “Chief of Weapons.”
